I had a neurologist appointment yesterday and left extremely frustrated. Nothing that was said in that appointment couldn't have been said over the phone and I got the feeling during the whole appointment that the doctor couldn't wait to get us out of her office so she could move on to the next thing.
I understand that doctors need to get paid, but as a patient it is really annoying to feel like they care more about the paycheck than your well being. I wish there was a way to have "phone appointments" with a doctor so that they could get paid. It's a waste of every one's time to have an office appointment just to have a conversation, especially when the doctor is telling you that test results are fine and they can't help you anymore.
