We've all seen those people at the grocery store who go through the 15 items or less lane with a cart full of groceries and annoy the people behind them. Today that was me. I had JUST finished emptying my fairly full grocery cart when I noticed the "15 items or less" sign. Thankfully, the cashier heard me say something to my 5 month old about how "Mommy wasn't paying attention" and made it into a joke.
I still felt bad though....... the guy behind me only had 3 things. He seemed to be fairly understanding, he was there when I first saw the sign. The lady who came up behind him didn't seem nearly as amused.
I guess I'll wear my dunce cap for the rest of the afternoon then let myself off the hook for this one.
