Let me start out by saying that I am SO far from knowing who I want to vote for in November that it's not funny, but some of the things being talked about in the media are silly.
At the Republican convention, VP candidate Palin made the joke that "the only difference between a hockey Mom and a pit bull is lipstick." It got laughs because she was talking about herself. Now, the Democratic candidate used the word lipstick saying that if you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig when talking about Sen. McCain and change.
You are probably sitting there thinking "so what" or "why are we talking about this?" Well, we are talking about this because it's one of the lead stories on yahoo.com tonight along with the fact that someone is saying that the lipstick and a pig reference is meant to be an insult to Gov. Palin.
GIVE ME A BREAK! Sen. Obama was trying to say that Sen. McCain really isn't an agent of change. No matter how you feel about either candidate, to take the comments out of context and turn them into an insult to another individual is really stretching things.
I really wish both campaigns would STOP nit picking at each other and really talk about the issues that matter to the American people.
