Cheap insurance Companies

I was sitting in the pediatrician’s office the other day with our little girl when my cell phone rang. I figured that it was either my husband or my Mom. It wasn’t either, it was my allergist. I had requested a refill of my antihistamine on our prescription plan’s website the day before and they had called the doctor to find out if they could change my medication to something cheaper. The problem with that was that the something cheaper doesn’t help control my allergies. So, I told the doctor no…. and he suggested a trip to Sam’s Club to buy their version of Zyrtec, which is what I took before they made it over the counter. I think that when the doctor told the insurance company they went ahead and refilled the prescription. So, when it comes I will take the $70 prescription for the next three months then switch to the Zyrtec we bought for $18.
